I wouldn't want to ask people to just give me money cause they like my website, but do please take a quick look at Barger's Boutique. You might find yourself a little something-something for 2 or 3 bucks that you just can't resist! Any of the round images you find around MoreThings will get you to an Amazon page to buy my stuff and help ol' Al keep the lights on.
Links
To explicitly state the obvious, these external links go to interesting and provocative websites, but they speak for themselves. I don't necessarily agree with anything they say - especially that no-goodnik Richard Marcus.

Charlie Hustle rules! We had an unfortunate attack with substantial ramifications a year ago today, but I'd prefer to emphasize another historic event on this date, something of a much more positive nature. I intend on having things to dwell on for September 11ths besides a handful of stupid psychos; damned if I plan on giving up that psychic ground. What else can we think about instead?
On September 11, 1985, Cincinnati Red Pete Rose got the 4,192nd hit of his career, surpassing the record of Ty Cobb. He wasn't the dramatic power slugger that Babe Ruth was or Barry Bonds would be, but he was totally committed. He kept swinging, hard, and knocked that thing out there thousands and thousands of times. They called him "Charlie Hustle."
In the broader populist sense, a country full of Charlie Hustles built America, and will re-build everything we've lost and more. Sure, Charlie Hustle has his faults, and minor pecadillos, but he's for real. It'll take more than a few fools with boxcutters to knock him down.
