----
I wouldn't want to ask people to just give me money cause they like my website, but do please take a quick look at Barger's Boutique. You might find yourself a little something-something for 2 or 3 bucks that you just can't resist! Any of the round images you find around MoreThings will get you to an Amazon page to buy my stuff and help ol' Al keep the lights on.
Links
To explicitly state the obvious, these external links go to interesting and provocative websites, but they speak for themselves. I don't necessarily agree with anything they say - especially that no-goodnik Richard Marcus.

New album releases, week of 9-28-2004 This week, Brian Wilson finally dishes up a little album called Smile. Thirty-something years and several breakdowns later, he's actually finished the damned thing and put it out. Obviously, this will be the top pick of this week's crop. It's also, not surprisingly, the #1 seller at Amazon.
Queen Latifah does more for me as an actress than as a musician, but that's where she made her name. The Dana Owens Album finds the Queen singing jazz.
Mark Knopfler puts out his fourth solo album this week, Shangri-La.
At the very bottom of the barrel, Marilyn Manson has released the oxymoronically titled "Best Of" collection. It even has a bonus DVD!!
HERE is the complete list of this weeks major new albums.
