What has he been doing since his last album of original material over seven years ago, way back in 2003. This week our prayers are answered with the release of Truth of Touch. At this rate, he’s publishing two songs per year. You can’t hurry genius.
Miles comes up with more interesting records 20 years dead than nearly anyone livine. Miles Davis Bitches Brew Live comes from two concerts. The first three cuts were from the 1969 Newport Jazz Festival, some nine months before the release of the studio album. The other six recordings are from the 1970 Isle of Wight Festival, four months after the album came out.
