I wouldn't want to ask people to just give me money cause they like my website, but do please take a quick look at Barger's Boutique. You might find yourself a little something-something for 2 or 3 bucks that you just can't resist! Any of the round images you find around MoreThings will get you to an Amazon page to buy my stuff and help ol' Al keep the lights on.
Links
To explicitly state the obvious, these external links go to interesting and provocative websites, but they speak for themselves. I don't necessarily agree with anything they say - especially that no-goodnik Richard Marcus.

Glenn Reynolds noted this fact, saying that it "isn't cool." This reflects a common sentiment among Salam fans that it's ok for us little bloggers to talk about him and point people to his website, but that it is bad and dangerous for big professional media to take notice of him. Apparently he's supposed to be our private pet, like some really cool underground band.
I know Salam himself got spooked and quit writing for a minute when he got a little burst of publicity a few months ago- but he couldn't resist. I'm glad that he resumed writing, for he is an invaluable voice in this time of conflict.
I find this protectionism of Salam distinctly patronizing. If you're publishing on the web, then you're publishing on the web for all to see. Indeed, Salam very much wants to be heard. The safety risk in publishing is HIS to make, and he has chosen to do so.
Although the consequences of misjudging are exteme, still I estimate that Salam's risk of being found out by the Iraqi regime are in fact minimal. Finding a guy using web-based emails and an anonymous Blogger site would be a tough job for the US government, much less the dumbass thugs of Hussein.
Also, if they were going to get him, they'd likely have done so before now. Surely someone there has noticed the page by now. They have either not wanted or not been able to find him.
Plus, the regime is now in death throes, and well past having attention to give to hunting down somebody because they have a web page.
