Connersville, Indiana, Your friendly hometown police state The Connersville Police Department has given money to the Connersville High School to buy "Passive Alcohol Sensors," which are described as "combination police grade flashlight and airborne alcohol sensor." The school plans to use these to "passively" test anyone attending athletic and other extracurricular activities. NEWS STORY
Looks like more just-because-they-can police state tactics, without any thought or mention of the Fourth Amendment to the US Constitution. It appears that the phrase "probable cause" has never filtered down to the local community. Most likely guess is that this comes from cancelling history and civics courses to make more time for Just Say No rallies.
