To explicitly state the obvious, these external links go to interesting and provocative websites, but they speak for themselves. I don't necessarily agree with anything they say - especially that no-goodnik Richard Marcus.

New CD Album Releases, 3-11-2008: Snoop Dogg, Presidents of the United States of America, Mike Patton The big enchilada in new albums this week is Ego Trippin'. It is the ninth official Snoop Dogg album. This features production from Teddy Riley and more old school kinda dudes from the Gap Band among others. Snoop has made a few worthwhile jams in his day, but he might do more good as an American diplomat. A charismatic gang banger like Snoop might be just the fellow to negotiate with the likes of the Iranian mullahs. Perhaps he'd be a good Secretary of State for President Obama - though his thug personnae might actually be a better fit for President Hillary, or even President McCain.
The broken up Presidents of the United States of America are officially rejoined. These Are the Good Times People is their fourth album. It is the official recording debut with the group of Andrew McKeag, who has been playing with the band during occassional live shows over the last three years of offical non-existence.
Mike Patton, former front man of Faith No More, has a new album A Perfect Place. It is actually a film soundtrack for a film by a fellow name of Derrick Scocchera. This "tragic comedy" is a 25 minute short. This raises the question of how you get a 15 song soundtrack album out of less than half an hour of film.
